About

“GREEN CAMPUS CLUB” is established in the college during the academic year 2021- 2022. It comprises with 150 student volunteers from various under graduate disciplines of the college.

The ‘Green campus club’ is also a part of the extension activities offered by our college. It is a platform to spread the knowledge about ecofriendly environment and to stress the need of pollution from environment.

Objectives

To create awareness among the students about eco-friendly activities.

To implement ‘Go green’ – Making the campus green

To create knowledge about pollution free surroundings.

To reach international standards in the quality of indoor and outdoor air.

To prevent and control environmental noise.

To establish an efficient waste and recycling systems.

To reduce waste and to dispose waste

To identify opportunities to save energy.

To see that proper steps have been taken to control or to prevent adverse effects like pollution.

As a part of green campus club we have organized tree plantation programme on 15-07-2021 in our college campus.

In this programme, college Administrator, the Principal, various department HoDs, staff members and students(nearly 150) participated.

On this day, nearly 300 plants were planted successfully.
