About

TThe Entrepreneurship Development Cell at our college was created with the purpose of raising awareness about entrepreneurship among students. Through the implementation of various entrepreneurial promotional activities, the cell strives to equip students with the necessary skills and mindset to pursue business development endeavors, thereby fostering an empire-building culture among them upon graduation. The active participation of students in these initiatives is crucial in nurturing an entrepreneurial spirit and mindset, ultimately encouraging them to become creators of job opportunities rather than mere job seekers.

Our goal is to foster the growth of successful entrepreneurs who prioritize ethical business practices and embody the qualities of leadership, integrity, and sustainability.

Mission

  • The promotion of entrepreneurial thinking necessitates the facilitation of business knowledge and the cultivation of dynamic business leadership.
  • It is equally important to instill within the faculty and students an understanding of the necessity and significance of enterprise development.
  • Fostering a culture of innovation among students is vital to promoting entrepreneurial endeavors.

    • Objectives

  • To create an environment for self-employment and entrepreneurship development through formal and non-formal programmes.
  • To utilize the infrastructure facilities and technically trained manpower for the development of non-corporate and other sectors like education, rural development, small-scale industries.
  • To create entrepreneurial culture in our institution and other institutions in the region is to promote the objectives of NSTEDB, including programmes related to women and weaker sections of the society.
  • To nurture better linkages between our institution and industries in the region, RD institutions and other related organizations, engaged in promoting Micro, Small Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) including NGOs and other voluntary organizations.

    • Roles and Responsibilities

  • Nurturing and championing an entrepreneurial attitude among students, faculty, and staff.
  • Coordinating events, workshops, and seminars aimed at motivating and enlightening participants about the nuances of entrepreneurship.
  • Setting up and overseeing an incubation hub dedicated to assisting student-led start-ups.
  • Furnishing physical infrastructure, resources, and expert guidance for emerging entrepreneurs.
  • Offering specialized training sessions and workshops focused on honing entrepreneurial skills.
  • Providing direction in business strategy formulation, market analysis, and financial planning.
  • Orchestrating networking opportunities, industry engagements, and mentorship schemes for budding business minds.
  • Aiding students in procuring funding and financial backing for their entrepreneurial initiatives.
  • Bridging start-ups with potential backers, venture capitalists, and governmental funding avenues.
  • Partnering with industry stakeholders to provide mentorship, internship opportunities, and practical industry exposure to budding entrepreneurs.
  • Interacting with the local community to promote entrepreneurship as a catalyst for socio-economic growth.
  • Collaborating with other institutional cells or departments, such as the Research and Development or Industry Interaction units, to bolster the entrepreneurial milieu.
  • Strategizing and executing events, conferences, and symposiums centred around entrepreneurship.
  • Showcasing entrepreneurial flair and cultivating an innovation-driven culture.
